I introduced many different kids' books. So how to make a book by yourself. Today I will show you how to make a "Carousel Book."

What a simple story, but this story can help young kids to learn and distinguish things. For me, I am interested in the drawing of this book. The author uses many red and green. These two colors let me feel wallop.

According to Wiki: Goodnight Moon is an American children's book written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd. It was first published in 1947, and is a highly acclaimed example of a bedtime story. It is about a child saying goodnight to everything around : "Goodnight room. Goodnight moon. Goodnight cow jumping over the moon. Goodnight light, and the red balloon ..."

The author Margaret Wise Brown is a really beautiful woman.

Where the wild things

According to Wiki This book comprises just 338 words, focuses on a young boy named Max, who, after dressing in his wolf costume, wreaks havoc through his household and is disciplined by being sent to his bedroom.

First reading I feel this just describe a dreamland and some interesting monsters for kids, but when you deep thinking you can find many implied meaning from the story.

The story can tell kids how to be a good kids and become a kind person. You need to hear you parents and home is the best place.

I think the monster is the most interesting in this book.

These monsters give me a deep impression, they are different with the thinking of my, they are funny, and look very dramatic.

The author Maurice Sendak drew many very lively monsters, and this story has been adapted into interesting movie. I think you will love this book.

My Dad

My Dad is a great book for kids. This book tells us he’s all right, my dad. He's as strong 

as a gorilla and happy as a hippopotamus. He's a great dancer, a nice singer, he's fantastic at football and he makes me laugh. A lot. But that's not all that's great about my dad.

The Author is Anthony Browne, Anthony Browne is universally recognized as one of the finest creators of children's books of his generation. He as written and illustrated over 

30 books for children, and has been awarded the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal (twice) and the Kurt Muschler Award (three times) for his exceptional work. Titles by Anthony Browne include Gorilla, Zoo, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Changes, King Kong and his immensely popular Willy books. His first book for Doubleday was Voices in the Park (winner of the Kurt Muschler Award, shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal).  

Anthony uses watercolor and color pencil to describe each frame. I like the drawing very much. His drawing is very beautiful and sweet. If I was a kid I will love the book so much. This book is a series of one. The other one call My Mum. I think you will love this series of book. very cute girl to read the book My Dad.

KIDS’ BOOKS ART-Eric Carle

Eric Carle is an American illustrator, designer and writer of children’s book. His most famous book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This book has been translated into more than 50 languages.

I like him because of he is not just a good author. He also is a great artist. His painting has his own experience and his unique style. When I studied graphic design. I learned a lot from his artworks. Like unique set up, some holes in the pages. That gives me many created ideas. I bought many his kids’ books.

Eric Carle’s books are distinctive to recognize. He uses collage technique and hand-painted papers to describe his artworks. His illustration is an aesthetic experience. His books also usually have a unique set up, such as holes in the pages. I believe you would like it.

KIDS’ BOOKS ART-Tomi Ungerer

Tomi’s Books give reader a wonderful world to think and image his books. His kids’ books have fear elements, but he said to balance this fact, that the children in my books are never scared. But because of his controversial adult work he also has highly controversial. 

Jean-Thomas is French illustrator and writer. He has published over 140 books from kids’ books to adult books. As a young man, Ungerer was inspired by the illustrations appearing in The New Yorker The New Yorker. Tomi Ungerer describes himself first and foremost as a storyteller and satirist. 

His adult works make him become famous then his kids’ books. But it also makes him has highly controversial.

He said before "In Europe," he says, "I have absolutely no problem. I did an erotic book which is based on the Kama Sutra, but instead of human beings, the positions are taken up by frogs. People come up to me and say, 'I was brought up with you. I was 13 years old, and I saved money to buy your Kama Sutra.' "

How to make a distinction between with Plane Figures and Solid Figures?

Plane Figures and Solid Figures   

• Plane Figures and Solid Figures are they opposite or connect with each other?  

Sometimes Plane Figures and Solid Figures are very hard to distinguish.

When you saw a view it was Solid Figures but when you take a photo 

it becomes a Plane Figures work. When you watched 3D movie you 

neededto take 3D glasses but when you take it off the movie became a 

PlaneFigures movie. I learned graphic design 4 years, and I always think  

about what is Plane Figures and what is Solid Figures? 

• First I thought thepicture let me feel no stereo feeling I called it Plane Figures. 

           But when I saw a picture I thought I was wrong

 

• This picture calls contradictory space. I can't define it include Plane Figures

          or Solid Figures. Because it looks like a Solid Figures, but the perspective

          is wrong. It can't appear in real life. Another example, 3D drawings need

          to watch it at specific angle. In other angle it just a simple 2D drawing.

 

So how to make a distinction between with Plane Figures and Solid Figures?

Animation---------Whirlpool

Whirlpool is a frame animation. It is made of several hundreds of pictures that I drew on the wall. The title is Whirlpool. In Buddhism, it also means metempsychosis, “Everything is one”. The purpose of this project is to call on people to protect our environment where Human and Nature should be as one.
