Animation---------Whirlpool

Whirlpool is a frame animation. It is made of several hundreds of pictures that I drew on the wall. The title is Whirlpool. In Buddhism, it also means metempsychosis, “Everything is one”. The purpose of this project is to call on people to protect our environment where Human and Nature should be as one.

How to Book Art?

I found something to explain it. In my experience, fist I like to think what kind shape I want. Then I just think the structure of the book. once I want to make a Transformers Book. So, I think and design the shape, then I think the easy way to describe the structure.

What is Book Arts?

What is Book Arts? According to centerforbookarts they explain “Today many artists adapt the form and materials of the book to communicate their content. There are traditional letterpress books with beautiful typography, fine bookbindings, artists' books, and sculptural bookworks. ” 

I design many interesting Art Books. I use different materials and interesting structure to show my books.

Green

Green is the name of a design community that I found. "G" is the main part of the community's logo.  Because our community's function is designing and painting, the logo "G" looks just like a drop of paint. Green symbolizes youth and vitality. We will keep working hard on the road of spiritual growth.

Some knowledge: what is logo? A logo is a graphic mark or emblem commonly used by commercial enterprises, organizations and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition. Logos are either purely graphic (symbols/icons) or are composed of the name of the organization.

SIGNS

The signs of this construction site combine some Chinese elements. The falling kite suggests us to pay attention to falling objects. In the middle, the Double Happiness sign means "newly-married", so it's a reminder that minors are forbidden to enter in construction sites. And finally, the Beijing opera mask with a big soft spot intimates us to wear a safety helment. These three signs are a combination of old and new.

These pictures belong to China-fun style as well the main idea is the shape of a Beijing Opera mask, divided in two parts. One half is in red and traditional. symbolizing Ancient China. The other half is in grey and evocates a machine, which relates to our midern society.
